We are thrilled to unveil our newly designed website, a vibrant reflection of the Delia Arts Foundation’s mission to empower artists and transform communities through the power of music. From Gaza to Congo, Lebanon to Brazil, our projects continue to uplift voices and foster resilience in regions impacted by war, inequality, and marginalization.

This time last year, we announced the launch of three exciting music programs at the Delia Arts Center in Gaza, Palestine. The programs were to focus on Music Production Training, Women’s Music Initiation, and Solfeggio and Music Theory Training.

Delia Arts had the privilege of sitting with the famous Palestinian Oud player, Adnan Joubran. Adnan is one-third of the renowned trio Le Trio Joubran, the only musical trio to focus solely on the Oud. Hailing from Palestine, Adnan Joubran was born into a musical family but only started playing the Oud at 18. Adnan and his brothers have performed worldwide, including in New York, Paris, and London. 

We are excited to highlight another recent Delia Sessions artist – Henna Haj Hasan, a talented singer from Palestine. According to Henna, there is a growing demand for female performers in female-only spaces, which led her to folklore explorations and to create a contemporary song that appeals to her audience.

Blackbird is a song written and sung by McCartney that whispers hope in its melodic refrain. It was covered by Wafaa and Alaa (featuring Johno) and many other talented musicians in a project curated by Delia Arts Foundation.
