John KeatingSongsmith, Producer, Philanthropist Johno is an Irish songsmith, producer, and philanthropist, working widely in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. His work is infused and inspired by Jazz, Blues, Folk, Classical Music, and various local traditions ranging from Celtic Music, Arabic Maqam, Greek Folklore, Gnawa, Berber, Rai, and Balkan music. In addition to managing Delia, he's an failing skate-boarder, a hopeless chess player, an amateur rapper, and a drunk. |
Joelle KhayatExecutive Director Joelle Khayat is a Lebanese musician. Currently studying Musicology, Violin and Music Theory, she aspires to reach higher education in her field. Joelle has been involved with multiple NGOs in Lebanon, one of which is Jeunesses Musicales du Liban that supports the career and needs of young Lebanese musicians where she acts as Secretary General, and has developed many projects and established several partnerships. She believes in the impact that Delia Arts Foundation can bring to young musicians’ lives in conflict zones and hopes to make a difference through the opportunities that she has been given. |
Tamer HaddadAssistant director Tamer is originally a medical doctor and also holds an MBA in health management. Besides his medical background, Tamer’s passion for music has been growing since he was 12. He studied piano along with music theory and solfeggio, and he started composing at the age of 20. He completed a BA in music and musicology at the Antonine University (Lebanon) and is currently pursuing his master’s degree in music therapy. Strongly believing in music as being the universal language through which global peace and goodness would be achieved in a balanced world, Tamer joined the Delia Arts Foundation as assistant director. |
Felipe Luiz T. dos SantosCommunications Manager Felipe is a Brazilian communications professional who has been working in corporate marketing departments and advertising agencies for more than 10 years. Now based in the Netherlands, he applies his experience to create Loudlab – a digital marketing agency focused on creating solutions for artists and cultural ventures. |
Ludovic SirtaineTrainer - Assistant project manager for Creative Corners Ludo is a sound engineer from Belgium, who started playing music quite young and couldn't see himself live anywhere else than at the heart of music. He has been working for 16 years in the live sound industry, on big festivals, touring all around the world with international artists like Habib Koité, Dobet Gnahoré, teaching in prestigious sound engineering schools in Europe but also organizing lots of trainings around Africa, Haiti, the Middle-East,... He has a great desire to share and help others fulfill their dreams in the music industry especially where training and opportunities are scarce. |
Antons BaltinsGeneral project manager Antons is the Project Manager at Delia Arts Foundation, with an eye for detail and impulse for organization. His work with cross-functional, international teams in South America and Africa has taught him how to build a shared project vision, and the importance of building trusted relationships. In past experiences, he developed an all-team triage system when posed with an external issue that derailed a crucial project milestone. He brings to Profyl. Real-world experience in developing successful project plans, communicating expectations clearly, and encouraging team motivation. Together with his teammates in Delia-Arts, he aims to execute this project, with a meaningful cause to inspire kids through music all over the world, to its’ best potential. |
Dina SaeedCommunications manager MENA Dina is a Palestinian raised in Egypt, and she studied media and mass communication. Dina’s passion for arts and culture led her to work as a public relations coordinator for various NGOs specializing in the arts and culture sector. She believes that everyone should have the chance to get close to arts and culture, and she can’t imagine herself working in any other career path than the one she deeply values: arts and culture. |
Palestine Team
Ayman Jamal MghamisProject Manager, Gaza Ayman lives in Gaza, where he has been involved in many different music projects. A rapper since 2001, he also has a bachelor’s degree in English and French Literature. He has worked with various local NGOs in Gaza as a project coordinator, in addition to assisting foreign journalists as a producer and fixer. Outside of Gaza he has coached rap with www.Rapolitics.org in Denmark, and performed concerts in France, Sweden, Tunis, and Denmark. |
Majd HajjajDelia Representative in Palestine Fueled by her passion for the arts, especially performance, Majd Hajjaj is a Palestinian cultural facilitator who has been involved in the cultural sector in Palestine for more than 12 years, as a cultural manager and fundraiser with multiple Palestinian organizations, and also as a circus, theatre and dance performer. Motivated by her belief in the role of the arts in fostering communities, she pursued her Master’s degree in Management from Durham University – UK with a dissertation on Marketing Management of Performing Arts Organisations. She is keen on helping Delia Arts Foundation in raising Palestinian voices through music. |
Safa MohannaContent Creator, Gaza After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in English literature, Safa Mohanna, a Palestinian woman, started pursuing a career in the Education sector as an English trainer, although she found pleasure in helping many students. Soon enough she realized that she needed to do more for the purpose of making the world a better place. Driven by the refreshing hint of a new destination, Safa uses her content creation skills to join hands with the Delia Arts foundation and help in piercing the stories of the rising musicians by creating content from the ground in the Gaza strip.

Marwa MhannaAdministrative Assistant Marwa is a young Palestinian woman who is eager to support young Gazan musicians to build their dreams. With her 4+ years of experience in the Administrative field and her activism with multiple NGOs that support human rights, she now joins the Delia Arts Foundation in her new journey to create a thriving Music sector in Gaza. She strongly believes in the importance of Music in her community as Music has the power to change the world because it can change people.

Walaa MdookhProject coordinator Walaa is an educational specialist with extensive (10) years of experience in project management, managing various projects and staff in education, advocacy, and disability affairs. These projects targeted the vulnerable, including young people, women, children, and persons with disabilities, and she is interested in MEAL activities as she considers them a crucial part of her career path. Walaa believes that the Palestinians do have the will and the inner artistry to be a real part of positive change in the world. She also has a PhD holder in educational management from Ataturk University. |
Hala AlabssiTechnical coordinator Hala is a Palestinian pianist, visual artist and dentist living in Gaza. Using her passion for music and arts, she tries to gather the necessary experience and collect knowledge to be -herself- a better human being and to inspire people as she had a wide record in working with Armenian and Palestinian NGOs and international organizations. She is interested in being part of creating a safe symmetric environment for the oppressed to live in, especially in her homeland Palestine. She believes in a world where everyone is equal in being a human and seeks the chances that suit them to be creative and feel alive. |
Congo Team
Thomas LUSANGODirector Guitarist, ethnomusician, and researcher in tribal music, Thomas is also co-founder of Clamue Asbl and initiator of the Ndaro Culture project. In 2010, he received training in sound engineering and was assigned director of the Blues Blues festival in South Kivu. In 2012, he was appointed director of the provincial ballet in Bukavu. He also received training in art therapy in 2014. |
Jean-Luc RAMAZANI BYA’OMBEAssistant director Holder of a bachelor degree in law, Jean-Luc is a cultural animator and was trained as a radio reporter. He was a presenter of cultural programs for 4 years. Since 2016, he has been director of the Lzulu Live project for concert production. In August 2021, he participated as a cultural facilitator in a training workshop organized by the Corporation of artists of South Kivu on art for change. Currently assistant director of the Delia-Ndaro Art Culture center, he is responsible for administration, communication and project management. |
Paul MUGISHO KAJIRAMUGABIProgram manager With a degree in rural economics, Paul joined the Delia-Ndaro Art Culture space in 2018 where he trained as a gospel singer artist. He has followed several training courses, notably in voice training, classical and jazz guitar, piano and drawing, and has won several gospel competitions in Bukavu. |
Malaika ANGELUS WALUPAKAHFinances Originally a medical doctor, Malaika has been an awareness-raising and investigator in several associations, notably Unissons-Nous pour l'Avenir de l'Humanité (UNAH). In February 2020, she participated in the Requiem for Peace project, performed by the International Classical Choir of Bukavu in collaboration with the Swiss cooperation. Having recently received training in finance, she is in charge of finance at Delia-Ndaro Art Culture. |
Roger CUBAKA BAGUMALogistics Trained in cinema, Roger joined Delia-Ndaro Art Culture in 2015 as a theater and cinema teacher, and also heads the cinema department there. In 2020, he participated in the training workshop for guitar repair and became assistant director for the television series Boom Rang produced by Delia-Ndaro Art Culture. |
Huguette KOMPANYISecretary-receptionist A graduate in pedagogy, Huguette has been a receptionist and secretary at Delia-Ndaro Art Culture since 2020. |
Tunisia Team
Yasmine BharCreative Corners project manager, Tunisia Yasmine was active in several organizations and teams such as I Watch and Oxfam, where she had the opportunity to contribute to the implementation of various projects related to implementing the new laws included in the new constitution of 2014, and the Tunisian Federation of Cine-Clubs (FTCC) in 2016, where she was part of the organizing team of trainings, masterclasses, as well as national and international festivals. Most recently, she worked at the Al Badil – Alternative Culturelle association, where she was in charge of the project “À petits pas” (consisting of artistic workshops for children in schools) and the series of events “IJA » (artistic meetings and appointments). She is currently in charge of the Creative Corners project in Tunisia. |
Egypt Team
Mohamed Adel MostafaCreative Corners Active composer, pianist, and conductor. Working as Assistant Professor in Cairo Conservatory. His musical activities represented in composing and conducting his composed instrumental music and music for the screen as he composed music for plays, documentaries, and short films. He won many prizes and honors as a composer and conductor. That is all besides his academic activities as teaching, researching, and supervising on Master thesis and Ph.D. dissertation. He also participated in several arbitration committees, the last one was the Cairo University Theater Festival. |
Algeria Team
Leila AssasProject coordinator Leila is a cultural journalist and social entrepreneur based in Algiers. She began her career in writing in 2014 on the sidelines of teaching from 2011 to 2019 (in the Saharan region of Timimoun). Since then, she has collaborated with several national and international media such as Clam mag, Pan African Music, No'ocultures and more recently, Music in Africa Foundation. In addition, she regularly collaborates with the media, cultural organizations, NGOs and production companies as a consultant and/or coordinator. Leila is also a mentor of several traditional musical groups from the Algerian Sahara. She is currently in charge of the Creative Corners project in Algeria. |
